Come with us on a journey through 71 themes, in which we introduce you to the game of chess, address questions such as "game or sport" and present to you the greatest chess players of the past and present.The Chess Museum is by no means only for chess enthusiasts, as alongside around 9,100 chess pieces and boards it also houses around 12,000 books, 3,500 stamps, numerous pictures as well as the world’s finest chess pieces from Swarovski to Villeroy and Boch.
