Electric karting in Basel

You will first be given an introduction to the route and how to use the vehicle. Then you put on your own helmet. If you don't have your own helmet, you can hire one on site. However, for reasons of hygiene, you will then need to wear a hood, which you can buy on site.

After 10 minutes of riding, you will receive an evaluation of your lap time. You should allow around 30 minutes for the entire activity.

• only overtake if possible
• stay seated in the event of an accident, never get out
• Do not drive in the opposite direction
• Pit lane: enter when the race is over (karts are slowed down); maintain a crawling speed
• Leave the pit lane quickly
• Driving times can be viewed outside the pit lane
• In the presence of a parent or guardian, younger children from 130 cm tall may also ride if they are of appropriate age; the karts can be adjusted accordingly.

The indoor kart track has 22 Sodi electric karts.

Basel has a beautiful old town, which largely dates back to the 16th century. You can reach it on foot from the exhibition hall via Kleinbasel and the Mittlere Brücke. The historic stone bridge is considered a beautiful vantage point over the city.
