Description
You walk through the Giessen Park at dusk with a Swiss Ranger. He shows you various bat species in their natural habitat.
Using state-of-the-art technology, the ranger makes the bat cries audible. You observe the small mammals and learn their hunting techniques. With a bit of luck, you may also spot rare species such as the Alpine bat or watch the water bat hunting mosquitoes.
Practical Information:
- Paid parking available at Giessen Park
- By public transport: from Bad Ragaz station, Giessen Park is a 15-minute walk away
Swiss Activities Tip
