Simme

The Simme is a river in the Bernese Oberland, originating from the Rezlialp and flowing through the Simmental. It's valued for its clear, bubbly water quality and picturesque surroundings. Wildwater rafting is popular on the Simme, as the river offers diverse and sometimes challenging currents. Anglers appreciate the Simme for its rich fish population. Hikers can explore numerous trails along the river, providing beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The Simme flows through places like Lenk and Zweisimmen, eventually merging with the Kander after about 55 km near Wimmis.
