About Golden Pass Line

The Golden Pass Line connects the picturesque towns of Montreux, Gstaad, Interlaken, and Lucerne as a panoramic train. The journey takes you from Montreux to Interlaken with idyllic views of Lake Geneva and Lake Thun. You will discover spectacular alpine panoramas and charming villages. On the stretch between Interlaken and Lucerne, you will initially travel alongside Lake Brienz. After crossing the Brünig Pass, the picturesque Lungern Lake impresses. The journey ends at Lake Lucerne with its unique fjord landscape. The train combines state-of-the-art technology with elegant design, including large windows for uninterrupted panoramas.
