In Zurich: Day Trip to Engelberg and Lucerne

The sparkling Lake Lucerne is one of the largest lakes in Switzerland and is set against a unique panorama. The comfortable coach takes you from Zurich to Lake Lucerne. The journey leads over the Albis Pass into Central Switzerland. Along the way, the guide shares exciting information about Swiss history and points out a few sights en route.

Located right by the water, you will find the charming city of Lucerne. During a short drive through the city, you will get initial orientation points. The tour guide highlights the most important sights, such as the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and of course, the Chapel Bridge. You will then have free time to explore the picturesque Old Town on your own.

Next, the journey continues to Engelberg. An impressive monastery shapes the village centre today. You have three hours of free time for your own discoveries. Numerous hiking trails invite you to walk and hike. In one of the cosy restaurants, you can enjoy a typical Swiss meal. Hopefully, the sky is clear, and you will get a wonderful view of the Titlis.

Later in the afternoon, the coach will return to the departure point in Zurich, where the tour ends.
