Verzasca Valley Canyoning Corippo Gorge 4 hours for beginners

The canyoning is carried out in a group and is aimed at people who have no experience in canyoning. You will gain your first canyoning experience under the guidance of a certified canyoning guide.

After the meeting you will go by shuttle and walk about 20 min to the canyon. After an instruction by the guide you will practice abseiling up to 15 m as well as slides and simple jumps (optional) up to 7 m long. At the end of the canyoning tour a Happy Landing Apéro awaits the participants.

• Bring along: Depending on the weather, additional synthetic sports underwear for better heat insulation (no cotton), sports tape for your goggles if necessary

Corippo has a beautiful village image. It has been included in the list of sites worthy of protection in Switzerland. Particularly worth seeing are the market square, the church Chiesa di Santa Maria del Carmine and the stone bridge. The village is located on the northern part of the Lago di Vogorno reservoir. Its dam is 220 meters high. The dam became famous as the setting for the James Bond movie Golden Eye and is now used for organized bungee jumps.
