Description
The mountain region around the Monte Rosa massif offers many unique views and wonderful ski tours. Explore the region over four days on this ski tour and get to know the Monte Rosa massif in depth. You will be accompanied by an experienced mountain guide.
The first meeting point is at 17:00 the day before at ZERMATTERS, where you will receive a short briefing from your guide. The next day you start at 08:30 at the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise valley station. Over the next four days, you will climb several 4,000-metre peaks and enjoy some fun descents.
The peaks include the easy Breithorn and the beautiful Balmenhorn with the statue of Christ on the summit. The highest peak you climb is the Zumsteinspitze at over 4,500 meters. On the last day, a descent of almost 3,000 vertical meters back to Zermatt awaits you. Between the days, you will spend the night in mountain huts. These include the cosy Monte Rosa hut or the Gnifetti hut at over 3,500 meters.

Day 2: Ascent 6-7 h, 1400 hm / Descent 527 hm / WS (SAC difficulty scale for ski tours)
- Ascent in the dark to the Lisjoch
- Ski to the foot of the Balmenhorn
- Climb to the summit of the Balmenhorn
- Descent to the foot of the Vincent pyramid
- Ascent and ski descent to the Gnifetti hut
- Overnight stay in the Gnifetti hut
Day 3: Ascent 6-7 h, 714 hm/ Descent 527 hm / WS (SAC difficulty scale for ski tours)
