Description
This 2-day ski tour takes you to two fascinating peaks: the Breithorn and the Cima di Jazzi. You will be accompanied throughout the tour by an experienced mountain guide. After the first day, you will spend the night in the cozy Monte Rosa hut and enjoy a unique view.
The first meeting is the day before at 17:00 at the ZERMATTERS home base for a briefing with the mountain guide. The next day, the real start is at 08:30. Together you will drive up to the Kleine Matterhorn. The ascent of the Breithorn starts there. You take a short break at the summit and then head up to the Schwarztor. This is followed by the descent to the Gorner Glacier and then the roped ascent to the Monte Rosa Hut.
The second day starts with a slow ascent towards the lower Plattje. After crossing the Muräne, you climb up the steep slope to the "Saaser Licka" without skis. You ski down to the Gorner Glacier and climb the fantastic Cima di Jazzi. Finally, you set off on the long ski descent over the Findel Glacier to Zermatt.
