Samedan sunset paragliding

You meet at the bottom station of the cable car with the pilot, who accompanies you to the launch site. The pilot will now lay out the glider with you, check the lines and tighten the straps. You will receive a detailed briefing from the pilot. You wait until the light is perfect and the wind is good for take-off. Then you take off together with a few quick steps.

First you fly to the middle of the valley. Here you feel the remaining warm air being pushed up by the cool valley air. An impressive spectacle, which is enhanced by the great light effects of the sunset.

The mountain Muottas Muragl is located in the Livigno Alps and offers a particularly beautiful view of the Engadine. The Engadine lake district (Silsersee, Silvaplanersee and St. Moritzersee) is particularly impressive to see from here. The mountain itself is a popular excursion mountain with a small mountain lake and lush alpine meadows all around. A funicular takes guests from the Punt Muragl valley station (1739 m above sea level) to the mountain station (2,448 m above sea level). The Ova da Muragl stream feeds the Lej Muragl mountain lake and flows on to Punt Muragl.
