About this place
1337 Duke Albrecht of Austria, sold in 1462 to Ulrich v. Brandis, then passed through changing ownership. After 1600, fell into disrepair, the moats were drained, around 1635 renewed under Marshal Ulysses v. Salis. In 1905, it was remodelled. (Source: Burgenverein.ch)
