About this place

The Pizolgletscher is a small remnant of a cirque glacier, on the verge of melting away completely, with annual changes in length measured there since 1893. The Pizolgletscher, still about 400 metres long today, lies below the Pizolgipfel and is clearly visible from the well-known 5-Lake hike route.
