At the Napoleonmuseum in the castle, you can visit the carefully restored, originally furnished living rooms of Queen Hortense and the imperial family of Napoleon III. Magnificent tent salons, private retreat rooms, maid’s rooms and precious paintings are on display here. When Hortense moved into Arenenberg Castle, she did not just redesign the house’s salons. All around it, she had a landscape park laid out, whose winding paths keep opening up new perspectives.
