About this swimming spot

The Roman-Irish bathing ritual brings together two European bathing traditions. The Romans swore by relaxation in steam baths at different temperatures, while the ancient Irish relied on dry, hot air. In nineteenth-century bathing culture, both styles were joined in one ritual. Built into the bathing sequence is a soap-and-brush massage that cleanses the skin and boosts circulation, plus a cream station. Wrapped in a warm towel, you then enjoy the gentle light in the relaxation room - with views of the mountain panorama of the Lower Engadine. (Nude area, only for people aged 18 and over, at reception you receive a toga (bath towel) and bathing shoes, visits to the Roman-Irish Bath only by reservation, always only two people per station) Reservations: Bogn Engiadina Scuol SA Telephone: +41 (0)81 861 26 00 E-mail: [email protected] https://www.bognengiadina.ch/de/roemisch-irisches-bad
