The local museum gives you an insight into the life, culture and history of the landscape of Küssnacht am Rigi. Prehistoric finds, lords and landowners in the Middle Ages, and the 1831 cantonal split are presented, as are events from more recent times, such as the project for a balloon railway from Immensee to the Rigi or the tragic accident of the Belgian Queen Astrid in 1935. The two best-known folk customs are presented very vividly in an audio-visual show: Chlausjagen and the Sennenchilbi, which takes place every 6 years.
