Description
Enjoy a 6-hour tour in the nature of Lake Zurich. Kayak across Lake Zurich and enjoy the shore landscape as well as the special nature reserve "Frauenwinkel". Spend about 3 hours on the water and enjoy your lunch on the island of Lützelau. Either visit the cozy restaurant or bring your own snacks. After the return trip a delicious aperitif is waiting for you.

Meeting point: Parking lot of the bus church St. Martin in Jona
You will meet your guide and other participants at 10:00 am or by appointment
Preparation: Introduction
Before the tour starts, you will choose a boat type and be instructed by your guide.
You will visit: Lützelau Island.
On the tour you will go to the island of Lützelau. Here you will have a break, where you can enjoy your own lunch on the barbecue area or visit the restaurant.
You will see: nature reserve "Frauenwinkel", shore landscape of Lake Zurich and the island Lützelau
On the trip from Jona past Rapperswil to the island of Lützelau you will pass the nature reserve "Frauenwinkel" and the beautiful shore landscape of Lake Zurich
You go: with the kayak (or a boat of your choice).
With the boat of your choice you will go from Jona past the nature reserve "Frauenwinkel" to the island of Lützelau. The active time on the water is about 3 hours
Return journey: Jona
The return journey takes you back to Jona. Here a delicious apero awaits you.
Practical information:
- Minimum age with accompaniment of an adult: 7 years
- Minimum age unaccompanied by an adult: 12 years
- Prerequisite: swimming skills recommended, no fear of water
- Other routes possible: e.g. city of Zurich with Limmat and Schanzengraben
Swiss Activities Tip
Rapperswil, also known as the Rose City, is considered one of the most beautiful cities on Lake Zurich. Here, a stroll through the old town and a visit to the wonderful rose gardens is definitely worthwhile. The Enea Tree Museum is also particularly exciting, here nature is combined with design and architecture.
