Meersburg Castle dates back to 630 A.D. More than 30 furnished rooms are now part of the Meersburg Museum and can be viewed. A 17th century castle mill between the town and the castle can only be visited from the outside. It stands in the Mühlenwinkel between Lake Constance, Schwarzach and Rotach. The new Meersburg Castle stands next to the castle and is inhabited. It may be visited on selected days.
