Description
The Jurapark Aargau is one of the most beautiful nature parks in Switzerland. In the large area there are many rare plants and animals. Among them is the exciting midwife toad.
The name comes from the fact that the males carry the spawn around shortly after laying their eggs. Partly the species is also called Glöggli frog, because the call resembles a chime.
At the meeting point you will meet your leader and the rest of the participants. Together you will walk through the Jurassic Park during the next hours. During the hike you will learn many exciting facts about the midwife toad.
You will discover the special habitat that was created specifically for this species. You will be accompanied by the project managers of the Jurassic Park and creaNatira. With a little luck you will see the yellow-bellied toad or hear the chime of the glöggli frog.
At the end there will be a small, optional aperitif. Here you can talk to the project leaders about the species, the project and the park.
