Description
From Geneva you embark on a comfortable journey by air-conditioned coach to Täsch, the gateway to Zermatt. From there an electric vehicle will take you to the car-free village of Zermatt, where you can explore at your own pace.
You stroll through the village of Zermatt at 1620 m above sea level. The narrow streets contain more than 30 historic buildings, some more than 500 years old. The traditional wooden-and-stone architecture reflects the life of the former Walser inhabitants. You have time to discover the village and enjoy the views of the surrounding four-thousanders.
If you like, you have the chance here to learn more about Zermatt and its history at the Zermatt Museum. In the evening you return to Geneva; the entire tour lasts one day.
