Description
You’ll start from Lausanne and enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned bus ride to Täsch, the gateway to Zermatt. From there, an electric vehicle will take you into the car-free village of Zermatt, where you can explore on your own.
Stroll through Zermatt, located at 1,620 metres above sea level. The historic alleys feature over 30 buildings, some dating back more than 500 years. The traditional wooden and stone architecture reflects the life of the former Walser inhabitants. You'll have time to explore the village and take in views of the surrounding peaks over 4,000 metres tall.
If you wish, you can visit the Zermatt Museum to learn more about the village and its history. In the evening, return to Lausanne; the entire tour lasts one day.
