Description
In this watchmaking course, you get the chance to assemble your own watch. You can choose from a variety of watch parts (movement, dial, hands, case, strap). You’ll be supported by a master watchmaker. You then take the finished piece home with you.
You can choose between:
- Hand-wound watch
- Automatic watch
Wristwatch with manual wind
You have to wind a mechanical watch with manual winding once a day. This is done by turning the crown clockwise.
- ETA 6497 manual movement, made in Switzerland
- 42 hours power reserve
- Functions: hours, minutes, and small seconds (at 9:00)
- Diameter of the steel cases from 42 mm to 48 mm

automatic watch
The automatic mechanical watch winds itself up when you wear it. You generate energy through the movement of your wrist. The Initium automatic watch has a power reserve of 38 hours and stops after that time if it is not worn. Afterward, it can be manually wound via the crown.
