Description
If you have completed the first avalanche course, you can deepen your knowledge in this course. This course lasts two days. You will both repeat what you have already learned and learn many new techniques and methods. You will be supported by a certified mountain guide. And as in the first course, all participants will receive the SWISS MOUNTAIN TRAINING WINTER 2 certificate at the end.
The course content includes, among other things, being able to plan a mountain tour and carry out a rescue operation. The knowledge in connection with the 3x3 method will be deepened. And you will learn to estimate the slope inclination and to use the graphic reduction method. At the end of the course you should be well prepared for most avalanche situations.
Practical Information:
- In group: min. 15 years old
- Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and airbag can be rented in Zermatt
