From Interlaken: Day tour Lake Brienz, Aare Gorge and Waterfall

This full-day tour brings you closer to the fascinating mountain world around Brienz. You will discover many exciting natural wonders like the Aare Gorge or the breathtaking Giessbach Waterfalls. The tour also takes you to the cozy town of Brienz right on the lake. During the whole tour you will be accompanied by a local guide who will provide you with lots of background information.

You can expect a full day tour from Interlaken including a visit to the Giessbach Waterfalls and Aare Gorge with a local guide!

At 8:30 am you will be picked up by your guide in a comfortable vehicle at your hotel.

The drive takes you first to the traditional village of Iseltwald. Afterwards you will drive to the famous Giessbach waterfalls above Lake Brienz. Explore the waterfall and relax on the terrace of the Grandhotel Giessbach. Afterwards the tour continues to Brienz

After enjoying lunch, you'll drive to the Aare Gorge and hike through the impressive gorge. Between November and March the Aare Gorge is closed. Instead, you will visit the picturesque Lauterbrunnen Valley at this time of year. Finally, you drive along the glittering Lake Brienz back to Interlaken.

Once you arrive in Interlaken, you can say goodbye to your guide and restore your strength in a restaurant.
