Description
You’ll learn to snowboard safely on a practice area in the valley, supported by hands-on exercises and clear explanations. Expect a relaxed start where you can try out all the basic moves in the best environment.
All fundamental techniques are taught and you’ll get to know them on snow without needing a ski pass. A conveyor belt makes the ascent easier, so you can fully focus on your movements.
Session Procedure
- Greeting, equipment check & warm-up
- Build board feel with balance exercises on flat terrain
- Initial short gliding attempts
- Controlled sliding & first easy direction changes
- More steering and half turns
- Depending on progress: first full turns & independent riding

This offer is based on the availability of the provider. The booking must first be confirmed by the provider. They will contact you after the booking. If the activity cannot be carried out, you will receive a full refund.
- Minimum age: 7 years
- Meeting point: in the valley in front of Piazza Cafedeli in Laax
- Until you can make turns, you'll practise in the valley on a practice area and won't need a ski pass.
- Bring your own equipment: snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, ski goggles and gloves. The provider does not rent out equipment, but will be happy to advise you on where to hire it.
- Not recommended for people with acute injuries or anyone who is currently unable or not permitted to do sport
- If you wish, you can spread the booked hours over several days. For beginners, the provider recommends, for example, 3 hours a day over 3 days or 2 hours a day over 4 days. Please discuss this with the provider after booking.
