Travel from Montreux in a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Täsch, the gateway to Zermatt. From there, an electric vehicle will take you into the car-free village of Zermatt, which you can explore on your own.
Wander through the village of Zermatt at 1620 m above sea level. The historic alleys contain over 30 heritage buildings, some more than 500 years old. The traditional wood and stone architecture reflects the life of the early Walser inhabitants. You’ll have time to discover the village and enjoy views of the surrounding four-thousanders.
If you wish, you can visit the Zermatt Museum to learn more about the village and its history. In the evening, you return to Montreux; the entire tour lasts one day.
