Description

You meet your city guide in Chur in the garden of the representative building of the Rhaetian Railway. Let him guide you through the administration building. The historic building was designed by the Grisons architect Nicolaus Hartmann at the beginning of the 20th century in the neo-Renaissance style. The magnificent building with its high mansard roof was already a prominent feature of the Chur townscape at that time.

You will see and hear interesting details from the 130-year history of the Rhaetian Railway. The board of directors' room features murals by Chur artist Christian Conradin. You will also experience the extensive archives of the railroad on the tour.
