Rental period: You can rent the sledge for a whole day.
Pick up: You can pick up your sledge in the center of Grindelwald right next to the train station.
If you take the mountain railroad to the starting point of the toboggan run, please note the departure times. The last ascent often takes place before 16:00.

Swiss Activities Tip
Grindelwald is home to the longest toboggan run in Europe. it is called the Big Pintenfritz. It is about 11 kilometers from the Faulhorn at 2681 m above sea level above Bussalp to Weidli (1240 m above sea level) or Oberäll (1172 m above sea level). This route takes about 1:30 hours. If you love sledging, you must have done it once.
A bus takes you from Grindelwald to Bussalp, from where you have to pull the sledge behind you for about 2.5 hours for this incomparable descent. If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can tackle half of this descent and sledge down the City Run directly from Bussalp.

- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 08:00 to 18:00
Important Information
- Take along: warm winter clothing, sun protection, good shoes, ski helmet if available
- Please make sure to check if your desired toboggan run is open. In case of insufficient snow, you can cancel your sled rental free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
- Pick up sleds by 2:00 PM at the latest to reach the toboggan run on time.
