Description
During the ride between Küssnacht and Seebodenalp, you have a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne. The 15-passenger cable car covers an altitude difference of around 565 meters and takes 6:40 minutes. On the Seebodenalp, you can go hiking or visit an alpine inn. In winter, there are 2.0 km of easy and 0.5 km of medium-difficulty ski slopes.

Swiss Activities Tip
A beautiful, moderately difficult hike begins at Seebodenalp. It takes you via Alp Ruodisegg, Alp Räb and the Känzeli to Rigi Kaltbad in two hours. This hike of around 5 km is also possible in winter.
Accessibility
The top and bottom stations were replaced by new, barrier-free buildings in 2018. The two gondolas have 10 seats and 5 standing places. There is enough space for baby carriages and bicycles. For example, 5 bicycles and 5 people can easily be transported together. Each gondola is 2.30 m high. Fully automated doors allow easy boarding and alighting.
