The participatory special exhibition «Leben & Lassen. Spuren des Menschseins» at Altes Zeughaus Frauenfeld shows you, on an interactive and personalised tour, what remains from the major stages of life, from birth through youth to death, and how the traces of human life are handled in different eras and parts of the world. How long and why do we remember people, or not? On the participatory tour, you can take a 3D print of a key object you choose with you and enter into a dialogue with the exhibition at interactive stations. The exhibition illustrates, with around 100 selected objects, which material traces outlast us and for what reasons. The accompanying programme includes guided tours, school offers, exhibition talks with well-known Thurgau personalities, informative and entertaining talks on objects and stages of life, a surprising Icon-Poet event, and participatory projects with young people, children and grandparents that take up the themes of the special exhibition.
