About this place

Gameorama in Luzern is a museum unique in Switzerland, devoted 100% to games. Everything can be tried out – from more than 700 board and card games in the game café to ancient and state-of-the-art pinball machines, arcade machines, game consoles, computers and pub games. On a 7-metre timeline from 5000 BC to today, you can learn more about the development of gaming culture. Information boards in each gaming area also provide exciting background information, fun facts or even gaming tips. The special exhibition area takes a closer look at a range of different topics from gaming culture every six months.
