Sesselbahn Bächital - Seblengrat, Braunwald
About this place
The Bächital-Seblengrat chairlift was built in 1969 by Braunwaldbahn AG and Restaurant Seblengrat, and gives access to the Bächital and its beautiful north-facing slopes. As the sun only shines on them for a few hours a day in the winter months, you usually find optimal piste conditions with powder snow and freeride options. Together with the Gumen (1'901 m a.s.l.), Seblengrat is one of the highest terminal stations in the tourist area of Braunwald. To the east, Seblengrat adjoins the peaks of the Eggstöcke, which form the border with the canton of Schwyz to the west. The Bächital chairlift is out of service in summer.
