flimsfestival: Carousel

About this place

On the occasion of the 1st Fidaz village festival, which marks the inauguration of the new milk cableway and showcases many traditional crafts and professions, we are also giving historical music a place. An old carousel (without electricity) only turns when music (live) sounds. We have never supported an event like this before, we are curious ourselves and look forward to presenting classical music at such a festival. Because all too often nowadays – in the circus, at the Chilbi, at markets – there is no live music, and the ear is instead put under strain by maximum volume from recordings...
