The close connection to this beautiful and charming valley is unmistakable. Sonnenbräu has been brewing its beers for over 130 years with craftsmanship, from selected raw materials and to the highest quality. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were more than 30 breweries between Lake Constance and the Sarganserland. Only Sonnenbräu managed to survive the sometimes very difficult periods in the region. Today, the modern brewery with around 40 employees produces almost 3 million litres of beer a year. Despite its fine growth, it has never given up the character of a small brewery. Brewing beer for the people of the Rheintal with the highest level of quality and according to a self-imposed purity law remains Sonnenbräu’s finest task. Today, 23 beers are brewed with craftsmanship from selected raw materials and to the highest quality.
