About this place
Thalwil Museum is located in the so-called «Pfisterhaus» (1757) with press house (1679) and barn. The rich collection includes, among other things, views of Thalwil, Schooren faience and the local textile industry. Another focus is the works of the Thalwil painter and copper engraver Johann Jakob Aschmann (1747-1809). Temporary exhibitions on local cultural history and contemporary themes round off the varied offer.
