Greifensee

Here you’ll find Greifensee in the canton of Zurich, east of the northern part of Lake Zurich. The lake lies at 435 m above sea level and belongs to the waters of the region. At 6 kilometres long and a maximum width of 1.6 kilometres, it is the second-largest lake in the canton of Zurich. In the middle, the lake narrows to less than 800 metres wide. From here, you can also make out the shape, which is reminiscent of a fish. The northern end forms the fish’s head.
