About this bathing spot
Les Bains de la Gruyère in Charmey consist of three spacious indoor and outdoor pools with water features such as cascade showers, bubble benches, water jets and nozzles. The baths are divided into a Nordic and an Oriental area with different saunas, Turkish baths, a hammam and several rooms for relaxation of body and mind. The natural, mineral-rich water is heated according to the season to up to 34ºC by means of a district heating system. Aquagym classes, sauna or hammam ceremonies round off the baths’ offer. In the wellness and beauty area on the first floor, you can indulge yourself even more: different soothing massages, as well as individual care and beauty treatments, are available. Particularly worth mentioning is the massage with oils from organic plants from «Jardin des Monts» or the treatment with the finest chocolate. Getting there: by train to Fribourg and then by bus via La Roche to «Charmey (Gruyère), Corbettaz», by train to Bulle and from there by bus to «Charmey (Gruyère), Corbettaz» or by car (free parking available).
