About this place

We organise art exhibitions and much more: with an independent programme, we address themes that concern you personally and socially. We give visitors the opportunity to rephrase and deepen questions through the language of art. IG Halle was founded in 1992 in Rapperswil and has since made a major contribution to the cultural life of the region with over 100 exhibitions. Since 2008, our exhibitions have been on display at Kunst(Zeug)Haus Rapperswil. The combinations of art, science, philosophical and social themes offer plenty of tension and inspiration. Open to new formats and with a fine sense for current movements, we also integrate unconventional contributions and collaborations.
