Public beach of Eaux-Vives Both locals and visitors have always loved being able to go swimming in the centre of Geneva. And that is exactly what you can do at the new public beach of Eaux-Vives, which also gives you a lovely holiday feeling by the lakeside. It is a long, wide sandy beach with some pebbly sections. It also includes a green park, inviting you to relax. Electric tricycles serve takeaway dishes and ice cream. Swimming ring Very close to the city centre, near the Tour Carré, an exceptional bathing area has been created. Thanks to the swimming ring with a diameter of 40 metres, the lake becomes a playground. In the middle of the ring-shaped concrete platform covered with wood is a lake paddling pool.
