About this place

Discover their historic houses together with the residents and hear the stories, background and anecdotes about life in a listed building. A small apéro rounds off the event. Today, Alexander Dreyer guides you through House Rüti in Horboden. The house was built in 1712 for Jakob Schläppi and his wife Madlena Hiltebrand. Polychrome paintings (bears and flowers) and richly decorated Fraktur script adorn the original granary floor and the gable area. More events for the 40 years of the Wakker Prize anniversary in August 2026 In the month after the anniversary celebration, a series of events with guided tours, talks, architecture windows and much more on the theme of architecture will take place.
