About this place
A folklore museum with the collection of Pius Käser (deceased), former farmer, writer, collector and researcher. Several hundred objects from times past are on display in the attic of the stately farmhouse. Alongside wooden and metal tools, you will find old ceramic pots, household utensils, tin boxes and old glassware. Various Christmas cribs, pilgrimage souvenirs, household altars, baptism cloths and memorial items for the dead bear witness to people’s religious ties. On the walls of the old smoke room hang reverse-glass paintings, military documents and much more.
