About this bathing spot
The former Expo site called Jeunes-Rives, which has hardly changed since the national exhibition in 2002, is to be renovated and the park enlarged. The renovation of Jeunes-Rives is a flagship project for the city of Neuchâtel. The authorities aim to create a large 70,000 m2 park that links the lake with the heart of the city. A huge urban beach, public facilities open all year round, and a large playground are meant to offer visitors maximum quality of life. Cultural and sporting events are also meant to take place here. Almost 20 years after the national exhibition Expo.02, this magical place is being reborn.
