About this place

Home warms, excludes, is defended, lost and reinvented. Who belongs, and who decides, remains contested. ‘Crossroad – Home in Motion’ brings together sixteen artistic positions that see home not as a fixed place, but as a mobile, precarious relationship. Between memory and departure, closeness and exclusion, arrival and loss, the works focus on belonging in a present where places of life disappear, identities come under pressure and familiar orders become fragile. Participating artists: Lea Achermann (*1964, Luzern), Hans U. Alder (*1945, Schwarzenberg, LU), Alizé Rose-May (*1990, Bern), Yamina Blal (*2001, Zürich), Chun Chen (*1986, Zug), Mischa Christen (*1972, Luzern), Andreea Gwerder (*1998, Zürich/Steinen), Vanessà Heer (*1989, Zürich/Trogen), Sipho Mabona (*1980, Luzern), Andrii Nekraha (*2005, Kharkiv/Luzern), Oz Oderbolz (*1988, Zürich), Alisa Pidverbna (*2005, Kharkiv/Luzern), Tobias Ryser (*1992, Luzern), Celia & Nathalie Sidler (*1983, Basel), Yvonne Christen Vagner (*1959, Zürich), Linda Voorwinde (*1986, Zug).
