Drawing before art – ink drawing

About this place

After a warm-up exercise and a short introduction in the art studio, we head into the museum and draw to our heart’s content. Here, the journey is the goal: we want to draw in order to understand what we see. Whether it is a detail on the frame, the person standing next to us, the space we are in, anything goes. We leave everyday life behind and give ourselves a moment in which we can freely draw whatever we want. The workshop takes place in the museum, in front of the artworks. Folding stools and drawing materials are provided. This time, we focus on the technique of ink drawing. Our workshop leader Hoa Luo will guide you through the evening. Hoa Luo is a freelance artist and exhibition guide at Forum Würth Rorschach.
