“Mirror, mirror on the wall – who is the fairest of them all?” When the magic mirror one day answers cheekily: “Schneewittli, of course!”, royal calm is over. The Queen seethes with anger – and makes a consequential decision: Schneewittli must disappear! She orders the hunter to take the girl into the forest… With her heart pounding, Schneewittli wanders deep in the dark forest until she discovers – exhausted and hungry – something: a tiny little cottage, with a tiny little table and seven tiny little chairs. Who lives here? Can you just go in? And is there perhaps something to eat? While the Queen is already hatching her next sly plan, Schneewittli finds new courage with the seven dwarfs and rediscovers her charming laugh amid the happy chaos of badly sung dwarf songs and plenty of mischief. Fidibus retells the well-known Grimm fairy tale – playful, surprising and full of humour.
