About this place
Built in the first half of the 16th century by the Beli family. In 1575, acquired by Captain Ambrosius Gugelberg von Moos (1547-1591). Through marriage, it passed to the Salis-Maienfeld family, who expanded the castle to its present form around 1740. (Source: Burgenverein.ch)
