Burgruine Bottenstein
About this place
Former castle of the lords of Bottenstein, extended in 1255, bought by Zofingen in 1483, fell into ruin in the 16th century, the last remains removed around 1830. The ruins were excavated and conserved in 1949, restored in 1990.
