Collection Rosengart – a centre of classical modernism – shows unique groups of works. You can see 125 watercolours, drawings and paintings by Paul Klee. By Pablo Picasso, 32 paintings, approx. 100 drawings, watercolours, graphic and sculptural works, mainly from his late period. Works by other world-renowned artists of Impressionism and classical modernism such as Monet, Cézanne, Bonnard, Matisse, Braque, Miró, Chagall and others are also on display. Fascinating photographs by David Douglas Duncan show you the painter and the man Pablo Picasso in exhibitions that change each year. Collection Rosengart was originally the private art collection of Siegfried Rosengart and his daughter Angela. These are works from a subjective selection, reflecting the collectors’ preferences and chosen «with the heart».
