What the Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival is to wrestlers and the Federal Gymnastics Festival is to gymnasts, the Swiss championships are to lifesavers. This two-day event, organised from section to section, has taken place since the 1960s — now at irregular intervals — for both over-16s and young people under 16. Various pool disciplines are swum, which generally follow the international disciplines of lifesaving sport. SRV Linth is organising the 2026 Swiss relay championship of the SRLG at the Goldigen outdoor pool in Netstal.
