About this place

City history The town of Kreuzlingen developed from the three villages of Egelshofen, Kurzrickenbach and Emmishofen. It takes its name from the monastery “Crucelin”, founded in 1125. The exhibition room gives you an initial insight into the town’s development. It features, among other things, a model of the monastery at its first location, just outside Konstanz.
