About this place

Since 1985, Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen has been committed to contemporary art. Since then, more than 450 artists from all over the world have realised and exhibited site-specific projects here. Kunst Halle has established itself internationally as a lively platform and today ranks among the most important institutions for young art in Switzerland. As a place for experimentation and the production of contemporary art, it provides new impulses and contributes to the international networking of the Swiss art scene. It focuses on questions about the current work of the younger generation of artists and on socially relevant topics. With four to five exhibitions a year, guided tours, workshops for pupils and other educational offers, Kunst Halle arouses interest in and enthusiasm for contemporary art.
